Honorary Consul

Danilo Ivancevic
Honorary Consul
Danilo Ivancevic was born in Montenegro and immigrated to the United States when he was 23 years old. Arriving first in Virginia, Danilo moved to New York City shortly thereafter. Danilo studied Hotel Management and upon graduation, he quickly moved up through the ranks to become the youngest manager of a major New York City hotel. After several years in New York City, Danilo went to open motels and lodges for government personnel on Naval bases around the country. After opening the naval lodge in Newport, Rhode Island, he decided to stay on and manage the facility. Because of his management skills, he was offered several other departments, soon having 2 offices, 2 secretaries and 500 personnel working under him. But all that was not enough to satisfy young Ivancevic, as he had a burning desire to have a business of his own. It was that desire that led him and his wife Marie to move with their one year old son, Nicholas, south to Florida, arriving in West Palm Beach, where they made their permanent home. After opening and selling multiple businesses, Danilo finally settled into the event business founding Regency Party Rentals and Productions in 1982. After many years of growing the business with the help of his wife Marie and son Nicholas, Regency has become a premier event design and production company, servicing customers nationally as well as internationally. Danilo is now semi-retired, still consulting Nicholas with the business, managing his thriving portfolio of real estate, and enjoying being a grandfather to 7 beautiful children. In 2015 Danilo was nominated by the government of Montenegro to be Honorary Consul and approved by the Government of the United States of America. It is a great honor for Danilo to be In service, not only to his adopted homeland the United States of America, but also to his motherland of Montenegro.
